Samsung Xpress SL-M3820ND, SL-M4020ND fix firmware [chipless]

Order

To create a fix firmware you need to send the data of your printer:
1. Exact printer model
2. Firmware version
3. Machine Serial Number
4. CRUM Number (Toner chip)

To check printer reports (in order not to make a mistake in the data) we recommend use the free program  Printer Reports by ORPYS
It has the ability to save reports, you can send this report to us

Instruction (Manual) for program firmware [M382x / M402x]

1. Connect printer to computer and turn ON
    - Wait until it is ready and Windows finish find drivers, enter to service menu
    - [Menu◄] [#] [1] [9] [3] [4] [Menu] and enter enable firmware upgrade
    - [SERVICE FUNC > F/W UPGRADE > On > OK]
2. Extract the archive and run download_1.bat or drag and drop file M4020_V4.00.0XxXX.hd on usbprns2.exe
    - Wait for the printer to done programming (1-2 minutes) and then it will reboot itself.
3. Enter printer into Download Mode (forced mode)
    - Turn printer OFF (by button [POWER])
    - Press button [STOP] and press button [POWER]
    - And waiting in display of printer message [Press Stop to download mode]
    - Quickly unpress all button and second press button [Stop]
    - Printer will show message [Wait Image]
4. Run download_2.bat or drag and drop file P_NU_XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX_M4020_V4.00.0XxXX.hd on usbprns2.exe
    - Wait for the printer to done programming (1-2 minutes) and then it will reboot itself.
    - After the firmware, you need to glue tape of toner chip and not allow other chips
    - In M3825D, M3825ND, M4025ND glue tape two chips (Toner and DRUM)
5. Done, the firmware is finished.

P/S: After, we recommend disconnecting CRUM connectors from the board

Instruction (Manual) for program firmware [M332x]

1. Connect printer to computer and turn ON
    - Wait until it is ready and Windows finish find drivers
2. Extract the archive and run download_1.bat or drag and drop file M4020_V4.00.0XxXX.hd on usbprns2.exe
    - Wait for the printer to done programming (1-2 minutes) and then it will reboot itself.
3. Enter printer into Download Mode (forced mode)
    - With the printer turned off, press and hold the [Stop] button then [Power],
    - after a few seconds release both buttons [Stop] and [Power]
4. Run download_2.bat or drag and drop file P_NU_XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX_M4020_V4.00.0XxXX.hd on usbprns2.exe
    - Wait for the printer to done programming (1-2 minutes) and then it will reboot itself.
    - After the firmware, you need to glue tape of toner chip and not allow other chips
    - In M3325ND glue tape two chips (Toner and DRUM)
5. Done, the firmware is finished.

1. Enter printer into Download Mode
2. Download and extract the archive with original firmware
3. Drag and drop file M4020_V4.00.0x.xx.hd on usbprns2.exe

Enter Download Mode [forced mode]

[M382x / M402x]

    - With the printer turned off, press and hold the [Stop] button then [Power] ,
    - As soon as the message [Press Stop to download mode] appears on the display, release all the buttons and press the [Stop] button again
    - [Wait Image] should appear on the printer display

[M332x]

    - With the printer turned off, press and hold the [Stop] button then [Power],
    - after a few seconds release both buttons [Stop] and [Power]
